Guy Meakin the skipper of Peggy was smiling as he came ashore today. ‘We normally sail on the Noosa River, so that makes us light wind specialists. We won our division at Airlie Beach, came third at Hammo and if we can manage to keep our boat under the mast, we should go OK here (three bullets so far, indicates a little modesty.)

Four days of racing, five days of fun – that is what you can look forward to from Friday 3 to Tuesday 7 September at Magnetic Island. For those making the trip for the first time, Magnetic Island is located just 8km off the coast of Townsville and 90nm north of Hamilton Island.
