Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week offers picture perfect sailing on the tropical waters of North Queensland surrounding Magnetic Island. 
The Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week Organising Committee and the Townsville Cruising Yacht Club invite suitably found yachts to compete in the fourth annual Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week, 3 – 7 September 2010.  The regatta is run under the auspices of the Townsville Cruising Yacht Club and highly accredited Race Officer, Denis Thompson, will again be involved as the Principal Race Director. 
There are six racing divisions on offer including IRC Racing, PHS Racing, Sports Boats, Cruising with Spinnaker, Cruising non Spinnaker and Multi-hulls.  Racing around Magnetic Island provides a unique experience with the landscape on the island providing some truly spectacular views.
Magnetic Island will come alive with the many social functions that are to to be missed including live performances, daily Yachties Hour and activities taking place all over the island during the regatta.  We look forward to hosting you in September!
